Vater Vita, Which Is Located In Tila Village On The North Bank Of Phatki River In Magura Sadar Upazila. It Is Also Known As “Dhila Vita” By Locals. It Is A Traditional Monument Of The Mauryan Empire.
It Is Known That A Buddhist Sanghyaram Was Established In Tila Village From The Third Century Of The Mauryan Empire To The Gupta Empire In 321 BC. A High Court Was Built To The West Of The Village To Administer The Administration Of The Region And To Punish Criminals.
It Is Also Known That Some Spiritual Dervish Built The House And The Place Is Considered Holy Place. That Dervish Fatki Came To The Bank Of The River To Pray And Started Building A Mosque Here In One Night. During The Work, He Prepared To Cook Rice For Food, But Before The Cooking Was Finished, The Dervish Left The Construction Work Unfinished. But In The Morning, Everyone Saw The Unfinished Mosque, Cooked Rice And A Pond Formed By Rolling The Rice Fan. The Hill Higher Than This Is Called Bhatar Vita. And The Name Of The Nearby Pond Is “Fanghyali Pond”.
