Jor Bangla Mosque, Which Is Located In Barobazar Of Kaliganj Upazila Of Jhenaidah District. Locally Known As “Jora Dhibi Masjid”. Originally, The Mosque Was Named After A Pair Of Huts And A Pair Of Ponds At That Time.
It Is Known That Shah Sultan Mahmud Jor, The Son Of Lauddin Hussain Shah, Built The Bangla Mosque In 800 AH.
Currently, The Mosque Is Under The Supervision Of The Directorate Of Archeology Of Bangladesh.
