It Is Known That Khan Jahan Ali (RA) Came To Bagerhat From Far Away Delhi For The Purpose Of Spreading Religion. Also The Then Sultan Of Gaur Nasiruddin Was A Friend And General Of Mahmud Shah. He Excavated 360 Mosques And Dighis, Including The Historic Sixty-Domed Mosque, And Named Bagerhat As “Khalifat-E-Abad”.
