The Eco Park Of Bhatpara Is Situated On The Banks Of The Kajla River In The Saharbati Union Of Gangni Upazila In Meherpur District. It Spreads Across The Remnants Of Bhatpara Kutibari. The Park Is Located Only 6 Kilometers Northwest Of Gangni Town Along The Meherpur-Kushtia Highway. It Takes Only 10-15 Minutes To Reach The Park From Gangni Town Via The Prasastha Kathuli Road. Among The Various Colonial Establishments Left By The British, One Of Them Was The Bhatpara Nilkuthi. To Escape The Vicissitudes Of Time, Amidst The Ruins Of British Oppression, In 2017, The Meherpur District Administration Constructed The DC Eco Park. The Dilapidated State Of The British Era Nilkuthi Is Now Standing As A Witness To History. The Park Is Built On An Area Of 100 Acres. It Features Sitting Areas Amidst The Scenic Beauty Of The Two Sides Of The River, Walking Paths, Artificial Lakes, Waterfalls, Recreational Facilities, Various Species Of Flora And Fauna, Ponds, Footways, Children’s Parks, Viewpoints, Water Fountains, Overbridges On The Lake, Memorials, Mini Train Lines, And Arrangements For Boat Rides On The Kajla River, Among Many Other Attractions. Additionally, There Are Various Structures Of The British Era Nilkuthi Bearing The Scars Of Their Oppression.
