Bibi Chini Shahi Mosque, Which Is Located In Bibichini Union Of Betagi Upazila Of Barguna District. It Is Built On A Hill. The Mosque Was Built During The Reign Of Emperor Aurangzeb During The Mughal Period.
It Is Known That Hazrat Shah Niamat Ullah (RA) Came To This Region From Distant Persia For The Purpose Of Spreading Islam In 1659 AD And Built The Mosque. The Village And Mosque Were Named After His Daughters Chinibibi And Isabibi. In 1700 AD, Hazrat Shah Niamat Ullah (RA) Passed Away.
