Guliakhali Sea Beach
Located In The Mohana River Of Sitakunda Upazila, Chattogram District, Is Home To A Seaside Called Muradpur Beach. This Beach Is Situated Approximately 5 Km Away From Sitakunda. The Ministry Of Civil Aviation And Tourism Has Declared This Beach As A Protected Area. Within This Declaration, About 259.10 Acres Of Forested Area Are Conserved. On One Side, There Are Rolling Waves Of The Bay Of Bengal, While On The Other Side, There Is Dense Forest.
As You Walk Along The Beach, You’ll See Countless Small Trees Scattered Amidst A Green Carpet Of Grass. Narrow Streams Meander Through This Landscape. During The Monsoon, These Streams Become Filled With Water. Compared To Other Seasons, The Sea Remains Turbulent During The Rainy Season, Making It An Ideal Time To Enjoy Natural Beauty.
Within A 5-Kilometer Radius Of The Beach, There Are Attractions Such As Chandranath Hill And Temple, Botanical Garden And Eco Park, And Two Waterfalls Named Sashradhara And Suptadhara.
Previously, This Beach Had No Significant Recognition. In 2014, Some Students From The Chittagong University Of Engineering And Technology (CUET) Visited The Beach, Captured Some Photos And Videos, And Shared Them On Social Media. Since Then, The Popularity Of This Beach Has Been Increasing, Attracting More Visitors As A Tourist Destination.
