Varendra Research Museum, Which Is Located In The Heart Of Rajshahi City. It Is The First Museum In Bangladesh. It Is Also One Of The South Asia.

 It Is Known That Sarat Kumar Roy, Zamindar Of Dighapati In Natore, Lawyer Akshay Kumar Maitra And Rajshahi Collegiate School Teacher Ram Prasad Chandra Formed The Barendra Research Society In 1910 To Collect Traditional Artifacts Of Bengal. In 1964 Rajshahi University Acquired Barendra Research Museum. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi And Various Famous People Have Visited This Museum.
